It takes a lot of self reflection to realize that sometimes we are the ones who block some of our blessings. I’ve watched myself fall over and over again. I’ve experienced disappointments and the ones that hurt the most were choices made by me. How could I let this happen? Why did I let this happen? Why did I choose to not see my worth? To not believe in myself? Why did I choose to go back and forth to my past instead of focusing on my present and my future? Why? Why? But I came to a point where I was tired…of living this way. Of inconsistency. Of plotting against myself. I wanted better, I needed to be better. So I said: ENOUGH!
No more settling
No more sleepless nights
No more crying over spilled milk
No more letting shit slide
No more guessing and inconsistency
No more lies
No more procastination
No more pretending and lying to myself
No more putting myself down
No more hiding
No more running from self
No more hurting
No more ignoring the signs
No more broken hearts
No more self-sabotaging
No more extinguishing my light for others
INSTEAD...
More of getting closer to God
More watering of self
More peace of mind
More creativity
More growth
More love
More honesty, loyalty
More self-talks
More passion
More believing in self
More accountability
More responsibilities
More accomplishing goals
More healthy relationships
More glowing,
More goals.
Just flourishing.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 1 Corinthians 13:11
It’s time to be a big girl.
Do yourself a favor and be the best today. Leave out all the bitterness and bring in more betterness. Outgrow the old and rebuild yourself. Change your mindset, perspective. Be open to change. Welcome growth. You only have on life to live so make the most of it. Blessed week.
